The cream in Riverford milk floats to the top because our milk is unhomogenised. Left as close as possible to its natural state, our milk is not mixed up to break down the fat molecules. Milk has a sweet taste and aroma because of the lush, diverse pastures that Riverford cows enjoy eating.
We have had a veg box for many years and now a salad box. Delighted with the flavour of all the vegetables. Lovely wide range of greens and, boy, sometimes the salad leaves have been hot! Reliable and pleasant delivery.
Fresh!!! You really taste the difference. Organic veg and a chance to also get local sourdough bread, honey, apples, cider vinegar, etc. Flexible ordering and very responsive farm team. The veg box is a highlight of the week!
